Privacy and data

How this Forge app handles page responsibility information.

What the app stores

For each assigned page, the app stores one Confluence page content property with a schema version, the canonical Confluence group ID, and a snapshot of the group name when saved. The group ID is used to resolve the current group if its name changes.

It does not store page bodies, user or account IDs, group membership lists, report results, or analytics events.

What the app reads temporarily

For assignment and reporting, the app reads page and space information and group names through user-context Atlassian APIs. Report page titles, links, space names and assignment states are displayed for the current request, without an external app database.

All Confluence API calls use the current user’s context. Confluence permissions determine which pages, spaces and groups can be accessed.

Hosting and data flow

The app is Forge-hosted and uses Atlassian APIs only. It has no external backend, third-party egress, or in-app analytics. It does not send Confluence content to this portfolio website.

Requested scopes

  • read:group:confluence to search for and resolve groups.
  • read:page:confluence to read pages and assignment properties.
  • write:page:confluence to save or remove assignments.
  • read:space:confluence to select a space for the report.

Removal and retention

Removing an assignment deletes its app content property. Page deletion and app uninstall remain subject to Atlassian’s platform behavior; we do not promise an independent deletion schedule beyond that behavior.
