This notice applies specifically to Space Publisher for Confluence, provided by Renewal Hub Digital Services.
Architecture
Space Publisher is designed as an Atlassian Forge app. App compute and app storage run on Atlassian's Forge platform. The app does not use an external content backend, external analytics service, or third-party AI service.
Information the app accesses
To perform publishing, the app accesses Confluence information required for the requested operation, which may include:
- space and page identifiers;
- page hierarchy and version metadata;
- page content and attachments as processed through Atlassian's supported Confluence APIs;
- the initiating Atlassian account identifier transiently when needed to complete an asynchronous user-requested operation with that user's permissions.
Information the app stores
The app is designed to store only operational metadata in Atlassian-hosted Forge storage, such as:
- source and destination space identifiers;
- source and destination page identifiers;
- page version numbers;
- publishing state and timestamps;
- bounded publishing-job status and sanitized error metadata.
The app is not designed to persist page bodies, attachment files, account names, email addresses, passwords, authentication tokens or the initiating user's account identifier in its application records.
The initiating account identifier is carried in the Forge queue event while Atlassian processes the requested background job, subject to Forge platform processing and retention. The app excludes it from its own configuration, mapping and job records and operational logs.
External transfers
Space Publisher does not intentionally transmit Confluence customer content to an external backend, external analytics provider or third-party AI service.
Permissions
Publishing operations are performed using the permissions of the user who requested the operation, including supported Forge offline user impersonation for asynchronous processing. The app is not designed to use elevated app permissions to bypass a user's Confluence permissions.
Retention and deletion
Space-pair configuration and page mappings remain until they are reset or the app is uninstalled, subject to Atlassian Forge platform behavior and retention policies.
Publishing-job metadata is bounded and older completed job records are removed as new publishing jobs are recorded, retaining at most 100 completed jobs per source space.
Atlassian
Because this app runs on Atlassian's platform, Atlassian's own terms, security practices, data processing and platform retention policies also apply to Atlassian's handling of data.
