Choose a group
Open a page and select the Responsible Team byline. Search for an existing Confluence group and save it. Search results are limited to the first 50 matches; use a narrower query if needed.
The app saves the group's canonical ID and a snapshot of its display name. Confluence's native individual page owner does not change.
Change or remove
- To change responsibility, open the byline again and save a different existing group.
- To remove responsibility, use the remove option in the assignment dialog. Removing the assignment deletes the app's page content property.
Renamed or unavailable groups
The canonical group ID lets the app resolve a current name after a rename. If the group can no longer be resolved, the app marks it unavailable instead of silently assigning another group. Choose a replacement or remove the assignment.
